Welcome to the Indigenous Issues site in the Culture and Communication Reading Room supported by the Centre for Research in Culture and Communication at Murdoch University, Western Australia. This site is intended to provide a launching pad for anyone interested in the study of social, cultural and political issues relating to indigenous peoples. See the Writing link to get to some of our own work, done for Continuum or as separate publications, the Links for pathways to work elsewhere, the Reading area for some bibliographic material, and the Reports area for CRCC reports of special relevance. Given that this is coming out of Western Australia, there has been a tendency for most of the issues touched on in this site to deal with the indigenous peoples of Australia. This site is not exclusively devoted to any one group, and we hope to eventually expand the site to include work relating to Indigenous Issues from around the world. |
