ABC Staff Levels in WA: 1973-1996

 

 

Between 1975 and 1979/80 there had been a 14.6% loss of staff across the ABC Australia wide, reflected in the WA figures below. A total of 1095 personnel were lost during this time. This followed the introduction of staff ceiling levels in 1974.

By the end of the 1987/88 financial year, total ABC staff had decreased by 167. Of this 67 were TV personnel.
