Film and Television Institute Perth (FTI)
The Film and Television Institute is a non-profit organisation
and is Western Australia's development centre for independent
film, video, multimedia and exhibition. It is partly funded by
the Australian Film Commission and ScreenWest, with the remainder
of finance coming from equipment hire, membership fees and other
screen related activities. The FTI is a membership driven
organisation which supports first time filmmakers as well as
established practitioners in Western Australia.
ICA Productions Pty. Ltd.
ICA Productions Pty. Ltd. is a Western Australian film,
television and animation production house. The company has been
operating in WA since 1985 and is presently involved in the
development, production and distribution of animated films and
live action productions in both film and video. ICA is affiliated
with International Cartoon
Agency (ICA) which produces animated television series and
specials for the European market.

Japanese Animation Fans of Western Australia (J.A.F.W.A.)
The Japanese Animation Fans of Western Australia (J.A.F.W.A.) is a group of enthusiasts who meet regularly to watch, discuss and promote Japanese animation. One of the groups main aims is to make people aware of the presence of other animation styles apart from the popular American cartoons.

LISWA Film and Video Collections
The Library and Information Service of Western Australia has two main collections of film and video: the State Film and Video Library and the State Film Archives.The State Film and Video Library is a general collection, with loans, previews and screenings available through the service. The State Film Archives contains mainly documentary and news productions, on both film and video. All of the material held is Western Australia, either in its subject matter or its production location.

Screen West
Screen West is a State Government supported
film and television development body in Western
Australia. Its goals are to develop the WA industry and to
promote WA as a production location
to outside interests. Screen West provides funding for
documentaries, feature films, telemovies,
mini-series and childrens programmes.

TVW Enterprises Ltd, the holder of the licence for TVW Channel 7,
was the first television station
in the Perth market and has been operating in Western Australian
since October 1959. TVW
Channel 7 has been a member of the Seven Television Network in
Australia since 1988. There are
1,296,000 people in TVW Channel 7's licence area.
