Carolyn Brown
Carolyn Brown is a PhD candidate in the School of Education at the University of Queensland. Her research focuses on oral presentations in a range of fields, including education and business. Previous research interest has involved classroom talk (whole class discussion and the IRE format) in the secondary school setting.
Carolyn has tutored in Business Communication and Communication for Journalists at the Queensland University of Technology, and English Education at Griffith University. In addition, she has taught Business Communication and Academic Communication to international students at the Queensland University of Technology (University Entry Programs), and English, LOTE, and Drama in the secondary school system.
