Susan Danby

Susan Danby teaches in the School of Early Childhood at the Queensland University of Technology. Her current research work includes the everyday practices of childhood, language and social interactions in classrooms, and interactions on Kids Help Line (with Carolyn Baker and Michael Emmison). Her doctoral thesis won the 1999 Australian Association for Research in Education Doctoral Thesis Award and the 1999 Australian Early Childhood Association and Telstra Doctoral Thesis Award.
