Mark Rapley

Mark Rapley is Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Murdoch University. His current work applies discursive psychology to questions of power. Other work has examined the interactional and rhetorical production of persons with intellectual disabilities, the 'mentally ill' and Aboriginal Australians. Two books are in preparation: The Social Construction of Intellectual Disability (Cambridge) and Quality of Life Research in the Social Sciences (Sage). A collection of articles called How to Analyse Talk in Institutional Settings: A Casebook of Methods (edited with Alec McHoul) will appear later in 2001, published by Continuum International (London).
