TEXTUS: Text as Phenomenon of Culture
Call for papers

Special Issue of a collected volume of works of international scientific seminar "TEXTUS: Text as Phenomenon of Culture" on Text: Ethics and Sociology, ed. by Prof. Klara Shtain.
Deadline: August 20, 2002.

We are looking for research which draws upon the varied resources of Text Linguistics and related fields to explore ethic and sociological aspects of text such as:
* Text and the moral order.
* Realization of a moral consciousness in the text.
* Ethics of interpretation of the text.
* Text and social conflict.
We invite papers which approach ethics and sociology of the text from a wide variety of perspectives such as:
* Text Linguistics.
* Ethnomethodology.
* Conversation Analysis.
* Ethnography.
* Discourse analysis.
Manuscripts for this special issue must be received by August 20, 2002.
