Rhyll Vallis

Rhyll Vallis submitted her PhD thesis 'Sense and Sensibility in Chat Rooms' in August under the supervision of Carolyn Baker and Calvin Smith at the University of Queensland. The thesis has now been accepted and the degree awarded. The thesis applies membership categorisation analysis to chat room dialogues in order to explore members' organisation of their interaction. Rhyll was, until recently, teaching a conversation analysis course to post-graduates at East China Normal University.
