Screen Production programs in academia are a major component of Creative Arts sector. Both have grown substantially in the last 30 years and now constitute around 7% of the total undergraduate student population. Image-making is also becoming central to the Digital Content Industry. With ongoing advances in digital technology this convergence of Screen Production, Creative Arts and Digital Content is likely to increase in days ahead.

The second conference associated with this project will invite scholars from these convergent disciplines to share our result and apply it to their respective disciplines. In this conference we also hope to show that the convergent curriculum of Screen Production, Creative Arts and Digital Content is one of the most creative, innovative and relevant forms of assessable scholarship available to students in the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences sector today at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
