Where to find the Registration Desks

Murdoch University

South Street. cr Murdoch Drive, Murdoch, Western Australia

Day 1 (Tuesday 2 December) and Day 3 (Thursday 4 December)

  • All sessions on days 1 and 3 will be held at the South Street campus of Murdoch University
  • Conference sessions will be held in the Kim Beazely, Brian Hill, Robertson, and Loneragan Lecture Theatres - first sessions on both days will be held in the Kim Beazley Theatre
  • The Registration Desk will be located in the foyer of the Kim Beazely Lecture Theatre
  • When you arrive, make your way to the Registration Desk to collect conference materials, name tags, and updated information about sessions times and locations
  • Download a map showing the location of the Murdoch Registration desk

Curtin University

Day 2 (Wednesday 3 December)

  • All sessions on day 2 will be held at Curtin University
  • The Registration Desk will be located in the foyer of the Centre for Aboriginal Studies
  • When you arrive, make your way to the Registration Desk to collect conference materials, name tags, and updated information about sessions times and locations

Parking

  • Curtin University staff permit holders may park in the Green Zones.

  • Once you have parked, make your way to the registration desk in the Kim Beazley Theatre where you can collect a parking voucher to display in your vehicle. The conference organising committee are offering parking vouchers free of charge for registered conference delegates.

Return Travel Fremantle/Murdoch & Curtin

Free Bus Service

The conference will provide a free bus service for delegates between Fremantle and Murdoch and Curtin Universities on the respective days. The bus will leave from Fremantle in the morning from outside the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle Esplanade, at 8am. The return journey back to the Fremantle Esplanade will commence at 5:15pm from the respective university campus (pick up point details at campuses to be advised on the day). Please note that this will be a direct route; stops will not be made along the way.

Public Transport

Public bus services run regularly between Fremantle and Murdoch and Curtin Universities throughout the day. Catch the Circle Route Bus 98/99 from Fremantle Train and Bus Station or along South Terrace and South Street, Fremantle, if going to Murdoch or Curtin, or from the respective university bus stop if going towards Fremantle. Confirm with driver that you are going in the right direction. More information about these services can be found on Transperth website: www.transperth.wa.gov.au.

If travelling from the city of Perth to Murdoch or Curtin the Mandurah Line Train also stops close to the campuses; however, you will then need to take a bus between the station and campus - see the Transperth website: www.transperth.wa.gov.au for more information.
